29. January 2008 - TONIGHT at the Mascotte
Backwash plus other 12 bands will play at the Mascotte (Zurich) tonight starting from 21:00!
It's something like a birthday special for the Club itself.
Each band will cover a song ... The "winning" band, the one recieving the loudest crowd feed back, gets a quiet cool price...Something like a weekend in Arosa...
ANYWAY, Backwash will play: "Umbrella" (Rihanna)
... So, that should be interesting enough for you to move to the Mascotte tonight, and make a hell of a noise for yer favorite act.

The upcoming show at the ChopperClub in Regensdorf ZH (02.02.2008) has been canceled!
...Why?
Well, there is no ChopperClub anymore! It's that fuckin' simple:)
The show at the HIVE Club has been moved from the 10th of April onto the 24th of April. So the NEW date
for the HIVE show is 24.04.2008. Got it?

Der letzte Gig mit Notter findet am 24.08.2007 im Zürcher Hive statt (www.hiveclub.ch).
Lasst Euch diese einmalige Show nicht entgehen!
Türöffnung mit Flyer um 22.00 Uhr, Backwash rocken um Mitternacht.
Mit dem Flyer im Anhang kommt Ihr für Fr. 15.- statt Fr. 25.- rein. Einfach ausdrucken und an der Kasse vorweisen.

22. July 2007 - Backwash rockt künftig zu viert
Wir müssen leider mitteilen, dass Notter Backwash verlässt. Wir möchten betonen, dass dies auf eigenen Wunsch geschieht und ausschliesslich musikalische Gründe hat.
Statement von Notter:
"Niemals könnte mich irgendetwas oder irgendjemand dazu bringen, mein grösstes Projekt, das ich in meinem Leben bisher zu Stande gebracht habe, einfach so aufzugeben oder aus Stolz oder Ignoranz vor den Tatsachen zu resignieren. Aber ich sehe Differenzen in dieser Band, die schon lange bestehen, die immer mehr lähmen und eine Weiterentwicklung fast unmöglich machen. Darum sehe ich keinen anderen Weg aus dieser Krise als mein Opfer!
Dieses Projekt bedeutet mir viel zu viel, als dass ich es an meinem Ego zerbrechen lassen könnte.
Ich hoffe, ihr könnt vom "Brand" in Zukunft noch profitieren und ich will, dass ihr die verdammte Welt für mich erobert! Meinen Respekt habt ihr. Wünsche meinem Team viel Glück! Love ya all."
Notter wird nicht ersetzt, Backwash rockt künftig zu viert.
Wir wünschen Notter für seine musikalische und persönliche Zukunft alles erdenklich Gute.
In unseren Herzen wird Notter immer zu Backwash gehören. We love you!
Das letzte Konzert mit Notter findet am 24.08.07 im Hive in Zürich statt.
Backwash will rock on without Notter
At his own request Notter (rhythm guitars) will leave Backwash. He explains: „Nothing and nobody could ever make me give up the best thing I've achieved in my life so far light-heartedly. I see ruptures within the Band, that have been around a while now – they are hindering process day by day. I see no other way out of this crisis, than bringing this sacrifice. This band means by far too much to me, I can't let my ego break it.
I hope you all profit from the „brand“ in future and wish that you conquer the world for me! You have all my respect and best wishes! Love you all!“
Notter will not be replaced, the four remaining Backeees will rock on!
In our hearts Notter will always belong to Backwash. Notter we love you!
Notter's last gig with Backwash will be on Friday, August 24th at the Hive club in Zurich.
